TruFrac

Overview
  • The TruFrac composite frac plug is the premium Weatherford frac plug. Made with a proprietary, in-house blend of 97 percent composite material and containing significantly less metal than traditional frac plugs, the TruFrac plug is fully optimized to deliver higher run-in speeds, superior sealing and anchoring, more efficient milling, and smaller cuttings.
Application
  • Single- and multiple-zone plug-and-perf completions
  • Vertical, deviated, and horizontal wellbores
  • Underbalanced operations
  • Wellbores with temperatures up to 300°F (148°C) and pressures up to 10,000 psi (68.9 MPa)

FracShield

Overview
  • The FracShield composite frac plug offers superior performance in HTHP wells. It provides all the benefits of the TruFrac composite frac plug—including higher run-in speeds, improved anchoring and sealing, more efficient milling, and smaller cuttings—but with the addition of a field-proven segmented cast-iron wicker slip to withstand challenging downhole conditions.
Application
  • Single- and multiple-zone plug-and-perf completions
  • Vertical, deviated, and horizontal wellbores
  • Underbalanced operations
  • Wellbores with temperatures up to 350°F (176°C) and pressures up to 12,000 psi (82.7 MPa)

Stealthfrac

Overview
  • The StealthFrac large-bore frac plug extends the reach of plug-and-perf completions to cover entire wells—including ultra-long laterals that were previously inaccessible using traditional composite plugs and coiled tubing. With the option to use StealthFrac plugs alone or in combination with composite plugs, operators can customize their completion design. Because its large ID enables near-fullbore flow and it accommodates using dissolvable balls, the StealthFrac plug eliminates the need for milling and can remain downhole during production.
Application
  • Ultra-long laterals in which coiled tubing cannot reach
  • Plug-and-perf completions in which operators want to eliminate post-frac intervention
  • Wellbores with temperatures up to 300°F (148°C) and pressures up to 10,000 psi (68.9 MPa)
  • Compatibility with TruFrac® and FracShield™ frac plugs
